- Pundit-extraordinaire Chuck Todd is replacing David Gregory on NBC’s legendary Sunday morning TV news program Meet The Press.
- The activist hacker group known as Anonymous claimed to have hacked into Ferguson, MO’s police department servers, posted audio from the incident and the identity of Michael Brown’s killer. The Ferguson PD issued a statement that they had the wrong person. At noon, TheAnonMessage Twitter account was suspended, however TheAnonMessage2, their back-up account was still active.
- The Annual Internet Cat Video Festival was held today at The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. WE’RE NOT JOKING.
- Forget stupid cats on the internet! Four cute scruffy Canada lynx kittens made their first appearance at the Minnesota Zoo today. Check out the frolicking fun in the video below.
