This week’s contest recap is a bit later than usual — mostly because I was qualifying as a contestant in NBC’s new trivia game show, “The Million Second Quiz.”

You can qualify, too.

All you have to do is go to the show’s website, register, and play trivia head-to-head against other contestants. The questions are multiple choice and you get 5-seconds to answer each one.  (It sounds harder than it really is.)

It took me 10 rounds to get to the 3,500 points needed to qualify as a “line jumper” — or an online applicant.

Personally, I have no delusions of producers picking me to go to New York to play in this 10-night spectacle premiering Monday, September 9th at 7 p.m. But a trivia player can dream, right?
